Who we are

Vocabuli (vocabuli.org) is an English-Ukrainian online dictionary operated by Emmanuel Bourgerie and based in Ireland. You can contact us via email.

What data we collect

We do not use cookies, third-party tracking tools, or advertising networks, and we do not create user accounts or store any personal information you submit. Like all websites, we record standard access logs when you visit. These logs may include your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested, and the date and time of your visit. We analyse these logs ourselves to understand how the site is used.

Why we collect it

Server logs are used for security monitoring, abuse prevention, diagnosing technical errors, and producing aggregated, anonymous usage statistics to help us improve the site. Logs are not sent to any third party and are not used for any commercial purpose.

How long we keep it

Access logs are automatically rotated and deleted periodically.

Third parties

Our site is hosted by OVH, who processes server data on our behalf in order to deliver the website to you. We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third party for commercial or marketing purposes. This site also loads fonts from Google, who may independently log requests; see their privacy policy for details.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, you have rights under the GDPR (or UK GDPR) including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data held about you. Given that we do not store identifiable information, exercising these rights may be practically limited, but you are welcome to contact us via email with any request or concern.
